Hows my little flashback?

Ever since I've seen Across the Universe I've wanted to put together a Beatles equivalent to the soundtrack so I've been doing a bit of research into what songs came from what album and turns out if you know one thing about a song and how john Lennon came up with the idea you must put it on the internet.

After reading about Mr. Lennon I've decided he and I could be good friends if it were 1967 right now. he is weird and random, and I love weird random shit. I think i would do less acid than him though. I mean seriously I am the walrus?

Hows my little last spring break?

This was it. My last spring break of college, I had fun. To those I saw thanks, it was great, to those I didn't...another time.

It's geocaching season again! Over break I found 5 caches, and grabbed one travel bug thats been to Hawaii! To the certain someones who have an unfinished multicache with Laura and I we NEED to finish that next time I see ya.

I don't want to be in college anymore, springtime has pushed ambition under a rug.

Jinx and Chip aren't best friends and it kinda bums me out.

This weekend was a fun yet bizarre one. I thought going into it, much boredom and job hunting was going to come out of it, instead...neither!

Friday was full of rock band fun stuff. Rock band is really really great fun, I like to sing the most because I suck the least at it. I suck at the drums and the guitars are pretty tricky too. Funny how that works because I am an awful singer.

Saturday Started by cleaning my room and waiting for friends John and Nikki to pick me up for a plunge into lake superior, we were 20 min late. Which means if you know anything about polar bear plunges we were actually 19 min late and short one free shirt. We did not stop there though, NO SIR! We were at Fitger's Boch fest and wanted, and needed to participate. So we signed up for a stein race and WON! somehow. John and I recruited two strangers (one who we think was very hammered, but nice) the other excited to race.

While watching our competition I drank a couple of Bochs and even had them caramelized by a giant Iron rod and it was a fantastic experience. Dinner at the brewhouse yielded two more empty pitchers of delicious (un-caramelized) Boch. Bed was good that night.

Sunday I had every intention of getting some work done, but Justin called and offered me an opportunity to see The E Street Band rock out with Bruce Springsteen, which was really cool. I didn't feel creepily old but nor did I feel like a baby, Still don't know how people can buy multiple $6.00 beers.

Hows my little Muse?

After a disappointing 2007 in music I have been trying very hard to make 08 significantly better to make up for it. As of today there is are three albums (that came out in 07 & 06 respectivly) that I can listen to over and over. Velvet Revolver's Lbertad and Muse's Black Holes and Revelations, and The Hush Sound's Like Vines.

With that, I want all of you to listen to this song by Muse, it is having a direct positive impact on my life right now. Right at 3:18 my heart has built so much anticipation for whats next and they just blow it away. It's refreshing to listen to bands who are really good at what they do.
